후다닥 웰링턴 여행 9-10.12.22

웰링턴 가는 길은 폭우가 쏟아졌어요.

It was raining heavily.

 

겨우겨우 도착 후 호텔 체크인 

I just did check in right after arriving in Wellington. 

 

비가 오긴 했지만 밖으로 나가 봅니다. 

It was still raining but I went outside.

 

차가 짐으로 가득차서 주차장에 킵해둡니다. 

I kept my car that was full of stuffs in the parking lot of the hotel. 

 

우산도 없이 버스타고 하는 여행이지만 오랜만에 보는 고층 건물에 돌아가는 눈 😲

with short trip by bus and raining, I was so pleased to see some high building in a long time.. 

 

(버스는 버스카드가 없어도 $1에 이용 가능해요)

배고프니까 일단 먹어봅니다. 큐바 스트리스에 있던 타이 음식점 Aroi Thai Eatary

Let's eat first. 

쌀국수에 들어있는 새우덤플링이 너무 맛있었어요. 약간 프랜차이즈화 된 느낌의 트렌디한 태국 음식

Prawn dumpling in this rice noodle soup was so good. Kind of trendy Thai food eatary. 

긴 드라이브를 달래주는 뜨뜻한 국물과 쌀밥입니당 :)

아직 계획한 일이 많잖아요? 테파파 박물관으로 가봅니다 

I planned lots of things. Next is Tepapa museum.

 

Tepapa Museum

비가 추적추적 오지만 도보로 이동했고 걸을 만 했어요. 

It was raining little bit, but we could walk to this museum.

 

생각보다 규모가 컸고 층마다 테마도 있었고 안에 까페도 있었어요. 

Its was bigger than I expected and it has some theme every floor, a cafe as well.

 

전쟁 관련 테마를 돌았는데 웅장한 규모의 관람물들과 음악 덕분에 전쟁의 위압감을 물씬 느낄 수 있었습니다. 

I looked around exicition about war and felt sadness coming from the war with great size of statue and music. 

뉴질랜드 전통 동식물 등 다른 전시들도 있어서 시간이 되면 다시 한번 가보고 싶은 박물관이었어요. 

I want to visit this museum again for other exhibition like New Zeland animals and plants.

 

그리고 젤라또 먹으러 갑니당 😁 (역시나 걸어서)

그리고 그옆에 오징어 튀김 (그냥 한번 먹어볼만한 맛? 호텔에서 맥주나 와인이랑 안주로 하면 좋아요)

And then deep fried squid  of KC takeaway 

마지막으로 버스타고 이동해서 케이블카도 탑승해봅니다. 

And the last, I moved to take a cable car by bus.

왜이렇게 싸지? 했더니 막 뷰 감상하는 상상했던 그 케이블카는 아니에요.

The ticket was so cheap and it was not a cable car I had thought. 

그냥 이동용 짧은 마을 버스 같은 느낌이에요 ㅎㅎ 

It's just like a small village bus with short track. 

하지만 보타닉 가든 정상으로 올라가기 때문에 올라 간후 뷰와 함께 까페를 즐길 수 있어요. 

But its climbing to the top of Batanic garden and there, you can enjoy whole city view and cafe. 

 

보타닉 가든을 즐기면서 산책후 호텔로 걸어서 이동할 예정이었는데 비가 왔어요. 

I planned to walk in the botanic garden and returned to my hotel room and it was raining. 

바닥이 질퍽질퍽 흙바닥이라 신발을 잃었지만 너무 예쁜 보타닉 가든을 볼 수 있었답니다 

I lost my shoes with the wet and muddy way but Botanic garden was so beautiful.

비오고 다 젖어서 로즈가든은 향만 맡고 포기 ㅎㅎㅎ 그치만 강렬한 장미향이 인상적이었어요. 

It was still raining and we were so wet and gave up going into the rose garden, but the strong rose scent was so impressive. 

 

그 짧은 시간에 하고싶은 거 다 한 뿌듯한 여행 ㅋㅋㅋ
