취업도전기

 

 

안녕하세요 꼬마봄입니다. 

Hello 

 

맞아요, 저는 일자리를 잃었고 새로운 잡을 찾아야만 합니다.

Yes, I lost my job and need to find another job now. 

 

제가 일단 첫번째로 한 것은 이력서를 쓰는 일이었어요. 

First, I wrote the resume.

 

그렇습니다. 영어로요. 

Yes of course in English.

 

그리고 일단 잡서치 사이트를 뒤졌습니다. 

I serched some job seach website. 

 

뉴질랜드에서 일자리를 찾을 수 있는 웹사이트는 Trademe, Seek, Linkedin 등이 있어요. 

To find a job here, there are some sites such as Trademe, Seek, and Linkedin etc.

모두 아시다 시피, 지금 일자리 찾기에 좋은 때는 아니죠. 채용 공고 자체가 별로 없네요.

As you know, now is not good time to find a job. There are not much advertisements. 

 

그래도 해 봐야죠. 

But I have to. 

 

그런데 영문이력서에 자신이 없어요.

해외에서 직접 지원을 해 보는 것 자체가 처음인데다 제 영문 이력서에 검수가 필요하다는 생각도 들었어요. 

But I am not confident with the English resume. It was the first time that I applied to local companies and I thought my resume need to be confirmed with English, format and contents.

 

일단 해외취업 이력서 유료 컨설팅을 받았습니다. 일주일 정도 소요되어 유선, 영상을 통해 교육을 받고 과제를 통해 연습하고 최종 수정본을 전달받는 형식입니다.

So I decided to get consulting about resume and cover letter from the experienced person by paying some fees. It took about a week and I got some education with video and phone consult and practices to write and finally got the final correction of my resume and cover letter. 

 

지금 이력서 최종본을 검토하고 있습니다. 그리고 면접 연습을 마친 후 지원을 시작하려고 합니다. 

Now I am reviewing the final documents I got from her.

And then I need to prepare the intervie and will start to apply. 

 

또한, 이민성에서 비자 관련하여 일시적으로 변화가 있을 것으로 보여 주목하고 있습니다.

Also, immigrating of NZ will notice some temporary change so I am focusing on it. 

 

아직은 아무것도 알 수가 없어요. 제가 어떤 노력을 하고 결과적으로 잡을 얻게 될지, 아니면 약 1년간의 해외 경험을 갖고 다시 한국으로 돌아가게 될지 모릅니다. 하지만 이 과정과 시행착오들을 계속 공유할 예정입니다.

I am not sure yet anything. I do not know if I can finally get a job by doing much things, or I need to go home in Korea with just one year experience in New Zealand. But I will share everything. 

 

다시 에이전시를 통하지 않는 이유는 간단합니다. 그들에게 지불할 비용이 없고, 경험상 그들 역시 제 현재의 이 부족한 이력서를 들고 이제부터 일거리를 찾기 시작할 거고 그 역시 한인업체가 될 것입니다. 

It's so simple reason why I do not find other agency any more. I do not have money to pay to them, with my experience, they will find a job from now with my resume that is not enough to apply and they will suggest other Korean company here.
