오늘은 뉴질랜드 집에 대해 얘기해볼게요.

Today, I will talk about the housing.

 

오클랜드와 같은 큰 도시(한국에 비할 수 없지만)에는 아파트가 있는 편이지만, 아니라면 단독주택이 대부분이에요.

There are some apartments in the big city like Auckland, but most of houses in NZ are touwnhouses.

 

우리집 거실 뷰에서 보신 것처럼, 고런 집들이 대부분이랍니다.

As you see in my photo of the livingroom view, those houses are common.

 

보통 차고, 방2~3개, 화장실1~2개 정도의 집이 많아요.

Normally, There is a garage, 2~3 rooms, and 1~2 bathrooms.

 

한국에 흔한 원룸은 거의 찾기가 어려워요.

It is not common to find sudio colled "One room" in Korea.

 

그리고 아파트에 대한 개념도 조금 달라요. 보통 우리가 생각하는 아파트를 flat이라고 부르기도 하고, 타운하우스를 apartment 라고 부르기도 합니다. 

Thd concept of apartment is different from Korea. Apartments might be called "flat" here, townhouses might be called apartments.

If you wanna get some information about New Zealand's house, you can visit Trademe that is the representative website for purchasing products, findng jobs, and house information.

 

집들의 모습, 집값, 렌트, 플랫(방렌트)까지 모두 보실 수 있답니다. 제가 집을 구매해보거나 할계획은 전혀 없는데 정확한건 집은 비싸답니다. 영주권이나 시민권자가 아니라면 새집이 아니면 구매할 수 없는 것으로 알고 있어요.

You can find features of houses, rental price, and flatmate information. I don't have experience bought a house or plan for buying new one, price is certainly expensive.Without permanant residensy or citizenship, you can buy only new house.

 

보통 렌트를 하면 4주의 보증금, 그리고 렌트비를 내게됩니다. 평균 뉴질랜드 달러 450-650가 주당 렌트비라고 보시면 될것 같아요. 그러니까 500달러의 집에 들어가게 되면, 입주시 4주치 보증금 2000달러와 2주치 500달러를 납부하게 되고 주당 혹은 2주에 한번씩 렌트를 납부하게 됩니다. 

Normally, if you rent a house, you should pay bond for 4weks, and rental fee. On average, rent is between $450-650. So if you rent a house for $ 500, you have to pay bond $2,000 and rent for 2weeks 1,000 and pay rental fee weekly or fortnightly. 

 

처음에 오셔서 집을 구하게 되시면, 그리 쉽지가 않아요. 렌트비가 비싸기 때문에 집주인이 소득에 대해 증빙을 원하기도 하고, 렌트 히스토리를 요청할거에요. 그리고 주의할 점은 무조건 깨끗하게 지내야한다는 거에요. 지저분하거나 흠이 생길 경우 본드비를 제대로 돌려받지 못할 수가 있어요. 

It is not easy to find to rent house, for the first time. Rent is so expensive, the host will request the income evidence or history of your rental. And the most important thing is you must keep your house clean. You can not get the bond back with any messy or defect. 

 

세탁기나 냉장고, 식기세척기 가스렌지 등은 종종 포함되어 있기도 하고 아니기도 해요. 포함되어 있다면 조금 더 렌트가 비싸겠죠. 

Sometimes washing machine. refregiratior, dish washer, stove are included or not. If having them, it might be more expensive. 

 

플랫은 방을 빌려주는 걸 말해요. 방이 세개 이상이고 렌트비가 비싸기 때문에 플랫을 하는 것은 아주 흔해요. 워킹홀리데이로 오거나 혼자이시면 렌트가 부담스럽기 때문에 플랫을 많이 합니다. 혼자 방을 쓰게 되면 평균 $150-250 정도 하는 것 같아요. 

Flat means to rent room. It is very common beacause rent is expensive and have more than 3 rooms. People wirth workingholiday visa or single used to live as a flat. The average flat cost is about $150~250.

저도 처음에 집을 구할 때 힘들었던 기억이 있어요. 그것도 나중에 공유해볼께요.
